For many of us, sad though it may seem, a visit to the book shop is now just a chance to browse before going home to check the price on Amazon. Such is their outstanding success. Because of their size and volume of sales, they can typically offer the best price (through bulk buying) and their range of stocked products reflects the breadth of interests of the entire online market.

For relatively low volume orders they usually supply free delivery and whatever the hobbies of the person you are buying for, you will find something in Amazon that they don't already have.
